limi feu has gained a reputation for not just being yohji yamamoto’s daughter, but a competent designer who manipulates volume and negative space elegantly to create a narrative. this piece in particular features a brass wallet chain with the skull motif. the brass link that has been coated with a thin layer of black paint has chipped off in several areas, adding to the worn look that this piece exudes. the fastening system works in the form of 2 hooks, one used to cling onto the other that can be closed via screwing the skull through the holes.
