this pair of denim from the undercover aw09 ‘earmuff maniac’ collection prominently features a repaired patchwork detail throughout the entire pants. using black denim and gauze tape, the denim has been shredded and sewn in a seemingly haphazard sense that resembled garments from punk culture. satin replaces the traditional denim waistband and it is also used at the knees to cover the blowouts. an increasingly rare item, fits straight slim and in a pristine condition.

fun fact : this pair of pants retailed at 78,000 yen hence the name, similarly for the undercover 85s denim which retailed at 85,000 yen.
