vintage 1949 dress pants
made in 1952, this pair of pants is part of a series of standard-issued battle dress uniforms that the british army issued during the world war 2 period. as indicated by the ‘1949 pattern’ stamp on the inner tag, this pair of khaki serge wool trousers was a much later variation of the entire series.
featuring a fly-front, three belt loops, slanted hip pockets, two flapped rear pockets, and a side mounted map pocket to the upper left leg. all the pocket buttons on the trousers are exposed.
